Telemundo to Broadcast 'Sunday Night Football' Game in LA

Los Angeles doesn’t have a football team, and the NFL isn’t making it particularly easy for us to get one, but that isn’t stopping the league from trying to tap into our massive Hispanic market. On September 26, LA’s Telemundo will broadcast its first ever “Sunday Night Football” game between the Dolphins and Jets, supposedly in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

LA’s Hispanic audience is apparently supposed to care about this relatively mediocre AFC East matchup because Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is Mexican-American and went to USC.
