Sundance's Bird Runningwater Joins Peabody Awards Board
Arguably the most distinguished award in television and radio has a new Angeleno on its award board. Bird Runningwater, the director of the Native American program at the Sundance Institute, has joined the 15-member Peabody board. Runningwater will meet with his fellow board members at the University of Georgia in Athens to root through over 1,000 entries in this year’s Peabody Award television and radio contest. Winners will be announced in April.
Joining Runningwater as the newest members of the board are Eddie Garrett of the Edelman Company and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism’s Marquita Pool-Eckert
