Sun-Times Promotes Execs

The Sun-Times Media Group, which laid off 32 people in January and hired a new chairman in February, gave two surviving executives promotions.

Thomas Kram, formerly chief accounting officer and controller, is the company’s new senior vice president, finance and CFO, while David Martin jumps to SVP, business development from his spot as VP, financial planning. He was also rewarded for serving as STMG’s interim senior vice president and CFO.
