Still 2.6 Million Jobs In This Country, But None Are For You

There were 2.6 million job openings in the U.S. in June, still almost the lowest since tracking began, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. The hires rate was 2.9 percent, one tenth of a percentage point lower than in May, and the lowest since the series began in 2000.

Openings increased, but remained lower than normal, in construction, food service, and all levels of government. Did they increase in our industries? Hell no. Like you even have to ask.
