Playboy Mansion: Not All That Sexy
LA.COMfidential posts party photos from a cocktail soiree the other night at the Playboy Mansion. Maybe I’m the last person in Los Angeles to know this, but it turns out that Hef’s pad is not all that sexy. Here, for instance, is the infamous Grotto, which according to LA.com’s correspondent, smells like “chlorine and animal musk.” Everyone looks pretty bored in the photos, too, and the guest of honor, Dennis Hopper, reportedly didn’t even show up.
Has the Playboy Mansion become completely passe, or is sex itself no longer sexy? I will be addressing this issue in a FishbowlLA think piece when I have a chance.
