People Gets Royal Baby Cover
People magazine has won the celebrity magazine Royal Baby coverage war. At least for now. The New York Post reports that the glossy held up production so it could put a photo of Prince William, Kate Middleton and — most important of all — the Royal Baby, on its latest cover. It’ll be the only gossip rag with the tiny person on the front.
Larry Hackett, managing editor for People, said that he gambled and held up the issue because his man in London was sure the baby would be revealed Tuesday.
