Patch Expands Into DC, Chicago, Everywhere Else
AOL’s Patch.com is expanding like gangbusters. A tipster pointed us in the direction of Indeed.com’s search results for “journalism” near Chicago: eight out of the first ten listings are for Patch. The next page of results is all Patch.
And it just keeps going.
Meanwhile, AOL’s own jobs site has 280 jobs matching the query “Patch.” It looks like they’re moving into LA, San Francisco, Northern Virginia, and DC.
Patch is also hiring regional editors, which oversee the individual site editors, in places like Milwaukee, Cleveland, Dallas, and Minneapolis.
