Mario Cantone Set to Liven Up Page Six TV

Half-hour daily show debuts July 18.

MarioCantoneRemember Rex Can Read, Mario Cantone’s version of film critic Rex Reed? How about Joe Rivers, brother of red carpet maven Joan?

Those characters and many more were part of Steampipe Alley, the children’s show that gave Cantone his start. The program aired from 1988 to 1993 on New Jersey station WWOR-TV and all these years later – more than Cantone would wish you to count – he’s set to return to the daily pop culture TV beat as part of the Page Six TV team.
