Outgoing NBC Universal Head Jeff Zucker Getting Honor From Center for Communication
The Center for Communications plans to honor NBC Universal president and CEO Jeff Zucker at an awards luncheon on November 1. The center’s website says this marks the 30th annual awards gathering.
The luncheon, scheduled for New York’s Pierre Hotel, usually follows the “roast” format, with recipients taking home the Frank Stanton Award.
Among the expected speakers are Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, and CBS Evening News anchor, and former Today co-host, Katie Couric.
This year’s event chairs are NBC Universal Sports and Olympics Chairman Dick Ebersol and Universal head Ron Meyer.
