Orla Healy Out At NY Daily News
Runnin’ Scared has broken news that Orla Healy, features editor for the New York Daily News, has been let go from the paper.
Rumors abound that Healy was, to put it mildly, less than pleasant to work for, and that her managing style even resulted in multiple staffers leaving the NY Daily News, including Gatecrasher writer Ben Widdecombe and Rush & Molloy’s George Rush.
Nonetheless, at least one source maintains that the decision to let Healy go was more the result of lackluster output than any inter-office squabbles.
