Geoff Reiss, Newsweek‘s digital general manager told WebNewser that the changes revealed Friday, which include updated fonts and branding on the home page, are “just the beginning” of Newsweek‘s efforts to revamp their web presence and tie the site to the magazine.
One other new addition to Newsweek‘s home page is the “Intelligent Aggregator,” an infographic that quotes coverage of various topics from sites around the Web, even from competitors. Of course, Newsweek hopes the makeover will drive up traffic to the Web site, which currently brings in “between four to seven million” unique visitors a month, according to Nielsen estimates, Reiss told WebNewser.
