News Corp. Launches Anti-Corruption Review Just in Case
News Corp. has launched a review of its anti-corruption standards. We’re not joking. In a memo from Rupert Murdoch, a new “ethics oversight structure” was implemented. It will be led by Gerson Zweifach as chief compliance officer and Lisa Fleischman as deputy compliance officer.
According to SmartMoney, there will also be five “compliance groups,” including a Los Angeles cable and broadcast group; a Los Angeles film and TV production group; a Europe and Asia group; an Australia group; and a New York news and information group.
