New Life For Gaming Magazine

Between the rain and all the doom and gloom about magazine closures, it’s been a pretty grim day for New York media. So when we learned that the founder of shuttered gaming magazine Electronic Gaming Monthly plans to resuscitate the pub, it pretty much made our day.

EGM‘s owner, Ziff Davis Media, closed the magazine in January, after selling its 1Up.com group of Web sites to UGO Entertainment. When UGO decided not to purchase EGM, Ziff Davis made the decision to shut it down.
