NABJ Panel Set to Discuss 'Race in America'

National Association of Black Journalists convention in Minneapolis encompasses a dizzying array of workshops and panels.

The program for the 40th annual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), running through Aug. 9 in Minneapolis, very helpfully provides Twitter hashtags. One identifier to make note of is #nabj40race, attached to a Thursday morning plenary session titled “Race in America: Really, How Far Have We Come?”

Along with journalists from MSNBC, The New Yorker and The Washington Post, the NABJ has assembled a diverse range of voices for the 9:30-10:45 a.m.
