Mary Berner Leaves Reader's Digest After 4 Years

Reader’s Digest Association president/CEO Mary Berner announced today that she was stepping down after a four-year run.

Under Berner’s tenure, the company filed for, and then emerged from, bankruptcy and moved its headquarters to Manhattan from Pleasantville, N.Y.

Succeeding Berner is senior VP/chief financial officer Tom Williams, and Randall Curran, who joined the RDA board just last week, was named chairman.
