The Huffington Post has named Liz Heron executive editor. Heron comes to HuffPost from Facebook, where she worked since last year.
Heron previously worked for The Washington Post, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
“I cannot think of anyone in media today who better embodies HuffPost’s hybrid approach to storytelling, our mission of informing, inspiring, entertaining and empowering, and our commitment to be constantly evolving while staying true to our core principles,” said Arianna Huffington, in a memo to staffers.
