Of all the cities with thriving marathons – Los Angeles is the one getting bullied by church groups to move the date. Yes, one Sunday a year everyone in LA had to put off their plans until noon. In a time when obesity and inertia are epidemics and tax revenues are at an all time low – the church groups in Los Angeles want to take on a couple hour delay in worship services.
