Jill Sobule Calls Out Katy Perry

For months, singer-songwriter Jill Sobule has been relatively polite about the fact that Katy Perry’s number 1 hit “I Kissed a Girl” shares its title with Sobule’s biggest hit.

But all good things must come to an end.

In an interview with the U.K. tabloid The Sun, Sobule says of Perry’s claim that the idea for the song came to her in a dream, “In truth, she wrote it with a team of professional writers and was signed by the very same guy that signed me in 1995.
