Jay Mariotti Off The Air and Out of Print In the Wake of Arrest
ESPN’s Jay Mariotti has written harshly about sports figures who have been accused of domestic abuse. Now, after being arrested last week in LA for domestic assault on his girlfriend, Mariotti is getting similar treatment.
AOL, where Mariotti blogs, has suspended Mariotti from the site.
“We are continuing to gather all the facts,” a spokesperson told Sports Illustrated. “In the meantime, we have suspended Jay Mariotti and are not featuring any new work from him.”
