While the state of New York figures out if it wants to allow museums to sell their pieces of their collections to help keep them afloat, board members at Los Angeles’ MoCA think it might not be such a bad idea, and letters to the editor like this one are popping up all over, the question is the hot new conundrum in the museum world. But sometimes once the museum has made up its mind to sell it hits a brick wall.
