Fear Not: Playboy Will Return To 12 Issues A Year
Playboy, like other “lad mags,” has taken a hit in recent years thanks to the recession and free internet boobs, but seems to be showing some signs of recovery. The iconic men’s magazine is set to publish a total of 11 issues this year instead of the 10 for which it had originally planned. They’ll return to 12 issues in 2011.
Playboy struck a deal with American Media Inc. late last year to help tackle their debt and have since experienced a 5 percent increase in pages so far this year.
