FCC Member Baker Bashes Media Bailout Idea
As traditional media outlets continue to struggle adapting to new forms of communication, some have cried for a government bailout. This would save jobs while using government funds to prop up the outlets as they adjust to the online world.
Well those arguing for the bailout won’t find solace in one of the Republican members of the Federal Communications Commission. Meredith Attwell Baker spoke at the Capitol Hill Media Summit today, and made it clear where she stood on the subject.
