Elmo Actor Resigns as New Underage Sex Allegations Emerge
Amid new underage sex allegations, Kevin Clash, the voice of Sesame Street’s Elmo, has resigned. Clash had his name effectively cleared last week when Sheldon Stephens recanted his allegations that Clash had underage sexual relations with him. Then just days later, Stephens retracted his recant, claiming that he was pressured into recanting his allegations against Clash.
Now, in court documents obtained by TMZ, a second man — Cecil Singleton — is accusing Clash of engaging in underage sex with him.
