Coming soon, to a museum near you. Well, on a museum near you. “sleepwalkers” is not your standard film, but that’s because artist Doug Aitken is not your standard filmmaker. The installation at MoMA features Aitken’s favorite format–Broken Screen–with Tilda Swanson, Donald Sutherland and others in shorts (not shorts, shorts) projected against the MoMA building.
The NY Times’ got a sweet little story and, like any film, there’s even a trailer. Opens January 16.
