On that big interview? Don’t say you’re a people person, says HR Bartender Sharlyn Lauby.
She says if you claim to be a people person who gets along with everyone, you’re lying. “We all have to interact with people that might not be on our BFF list. It’s a part of business and there’s nothing wrong with it. The important part is how people handle the situation.”
Instead, be honest about how you handle uncomfortable situations and uncomfortable people.
