Digital Book Publishing, Gawker’s Revenues and Ashton Kutcher On The Menu

Today on the media- Morning Media Menu podcast, hosts Jason Boog of GalleyCat and AgencySpy‘s Matt Van Hoven were joined by AgencySpy co-editor Kiran Aditham to discuss the day’s big media headlines.

Jason opened the show with a discussion about HarperCollins’ appointment of an editorial director of digital. “It’s sign that major publishers are realizing that there is going to be a large market for this and that’s where things are going,” Jason said. “It’s kind of exciting to see the new push and it’s at a time where the publishing industry is cutting back on everything…but here is something that is actually growing. I think its encouraging.”
