Business Insider Hangs With Chelsea Handler

Senior TV reporter Jethro Nededog pays a visit to Sony Pictures Studios.

From a zeitgeist point of view, Chelsea Handler’s Netflix show has yet to approach the level of John Oliver’s weekly investigations and James Corden’s carpool excursions. But it’s early; the talk show is just four months old.

When Handler welcomed Business Insider senior TV reporter Jethro Nededog to the Sony Pictures lot, she told him that she feels things had “clicked” six weeks into the production of her program, which streams three nights a week. Nededog’s article features a chronological set of photos taken by a Netflix-supplied photographer, Neil Jacobs, offering a fun window into Handler’s staff, surroundings and daily routine.

It’s also interesting to read Handler’s comments about transitioning to a show without advertisers and commercial breaks.
