Washington Examiner Promotes Philip Klein to Managing Editor
The move is Klein's second promotion at the publication this year.
The Washington Examiner has promoted Philip Klein to managing editor, announced editorial director Hugo Gurdon.
“Philip Klein is widely respected across the ideological spectrum for his detailed knowledge of policy and politics and his well-reasoned judgments,”said Gurdon on the appointment. “This is a strong move toward building the Washington Examiner as a major political news site, delivering straight news and incisive opinion.”
Klein, who was promoted to commentary editor in August, has appeared on several major TV outlets including C-SPAN, MSNBC, CNN, and FOX News.
