The Washington Examiner has hired Thom Loverro as a new sports columnist. Most recently he worked at TWT, until the paper discontinued its sports section.
He joins the Washington Examiner as a thrice weekly columnist and regular blogger. He will still co-host “The Sports Fix,” a sports-talk radio show that airs daily on ESPN 980.
Loverro joins a group of sports columnists already at the Examiner, including Rick Snider, Phil Wood and Jim Williams.
Editor Stephen Smith says Loverro adds a “dimension we haven’t had before.”
