At Politico’s roundtable this morning in St. Paul, MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson was asked by Politico’s John Harris about whether it’s appropriate to have liberal Keith Olbermann anchor the cable network’s election coverage.
- CARLSON: The traditional model, as you well know…has been that you have people on either side on election night analyzing the returns. … And the anchor literally anchors the discussion. … You may guess his politics or think you know but he does all he can to preserve the conceit or the allusion that he has no politics.
