<em>TNR</em> Makes Changes to Web Team and Announces Brand New Class of Reporter-Researchers

Today TNR.com Editor Greg Veis announces two additions to its web team: Barron YoungSmith and Seyward Darby (pictured above) have been named deputy editors. Both are former reporter-researchers at the magazine. Chloë Schama (below right) has replaced Darby as Assistant Managing Editor. Schama is a former Assistant Literary Editor at the magazine. She has an M.Phil. in English from Cambridge and graduated from Harvard. Schama is the author of Wild Romance: A Victorian Story of a Marriage, a Trial, and a Self-Made Woman (Walker Books 2010). Laura Bennett (below left) has been named Assistant Literary Editor. She graduated from Yale where she was editor-in-chief of the The Yale Herald and the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship. The 2010-2011 class of reporter-researchers: James Downie has written for Foreign Policy, Time, and Campus Progress. He graduated from Columbia, where he edited the news blog, the Bwog. He is from Washington, D.C. Eliza Gray has written for The European Voice, NYDailyNews.com, Newsweek, Wall Street Journal, and AboveTheLaw.com. She attended Harvard and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She is a native Washingtonian. Alexander Hart has written for the Alexandria Times, ABCNews.com, Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times. He graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service. He is from Winter Park, Fla. Tiffany Stanley has written for The Times-Picayune (New Orleans), USATODAY.com, Houston Chronicle, Salt Lake Tribune, Harvard, and Paste. She graduated from the University of Georgia and has an M.Div. from Harvard. She is from Lexington, South Carolina. Alumni: Peter Beinart, David A. Bell, James Bennet, Jonathan Chait, Michael Crowley, Jason DeParle, David Greenberg, Jonathan Karl, Chuck Lane, Ryan Lizza, Hanna Rosin, Jacob Weisberg, and Fareed Zakaria.
