The Washington Post Is Having a Moment

It is among the first organizations to participate in Twitter's new storytelling feature.

The Washington Post is among the first publications to participate in Twitter’s new feature, Moments, which launches in the U.S. today.

The Moments feature allows Twitter users to present and create stories in a “rich new format” by bringing together Tweets, picture, videos and Vines instantly. The Post, and Twitter’s other media partners, will also be able to embed these Moments on their sites and apps.

“The combination of speed, ease of use and rich visuals, in addition to Twitter’s extraordinary reach, are what drew us to the project,” said Cory Haik, executive director of emerging news products.
