The Doctor Is Not In
CNN U.S. President Jon Klein confirms tonight that Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the cable network’s chief medical correspondent, has
withdrawn his name from President Obama’s consideration for next surgeon general.
Klein says the decision was made “in order to continue devoting time to his medical career and of course his work at CNN.”
