Subject: A new editor at the Magazine
Dear Politicos — We’re delighted to announce that Eva Rodriguez will be joining the Magazine as our senior editor. Eva comes to us from the Washington Post, where she’s spent the last seven years wearing many hats from politics editor and deputy at the Style section to editorial board member. She’s also been editor in chief of Legal Times, DC bureau chief for BusinessWeek and an editor in the Washington bureau of the New York Times — a wide-ranging experience that gives her fluency in so many of the subjects that the Magazine aims to tackle. She also just loves to work with writers. Eva is mother of two college-sophomore twins and lives in Takoma Park with her partner Debra, and we can’t wait to welcome her in mid-August.
