Shoshannah Nuñez was recently hired as the new producer for “The Brody File,” a weekly political talk show on CBN (Christian Broadcast Network).
Nuñez was previously at CBN’s Virginia Beach headquarters, where she produced “Newswatch,” the network’s nightly newscast. She began her career at NBC affiliate WWBT-TV in Richmond, Virginia.
The show is hosted by David Brody, chief political correspondent for the network and contributor to Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and NBC’s “Meet The Press.” The half-hour show explores “key issues relating to faith and politics,” according to the network’s website.
Nuñez’s first day at “The Brody File” was July 1. She found the transition easy because she had already been at CBN. She describes the show as a refreshing break from a standard nightly newscast.
“While we report the news, The Brody File isn’t your typical newscast,” Nuñez wrote in an email to FBDC. “We get the chance to be different and creative in the way we tell stories.”
She also says that she’s looking forward new opportunities as a producer of the show, which she called “funny and smart.”
“I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead,” the email continued. “I’m excited to go on the road with The Brody File team, do some great interviews, meet some interesting people and produce an awesome show.”
