Sarah Palin over the weekend announced a new project she’s launching – “The Sarah Palin Channel” – to explore “important issues facing the nation,” part of the TAPP network.
“I want to talk directly to you on our channel, on my terms — and no need to please the powers that be,” she explains in a video promo for the channel. “Together, we’ll go beyond the sound bites and cut through the media’s politically correct filter.”
Most of the channel is members only, at the rate of $9.95 a month or $99.95 for a year. In the site’s FAQ’s under ‘Is the Channel members only?’ it answers: “Yes, we have launched our video channel looking for the support of our community through subscriptions. We also feel that the community would feel more secure knowing everyone watching, uploading videos, and participating in the discussions and video chats was a contributing member and not anonymous,” aka it’s viewer funded but we’ll act like having people pay $10 a month via credit card actually makes it “feel more secure.”
