NPR Welcomes Martin Back from ABC News

This just in…an internal memo from Steve Drummond, NPR’s senior national editor:

I’m hugely delighted to announce that Rachel Martin is returning to NPR as National Security Correspondent. She’ll join Bruce Auster’s team with Tom Gjelten, Tom Bowman, and Dina Temple-Raston, and she’ll focus on a mix of military and intelligence issues.

Since 2008 Rachel has been covering the White House and national security for ABC News. Many of you know Rachel from her previous work at NPR.
