National Journal to Host Through the Ceiling: Empowering Women in 2014 and Beyond
National Journal has announced its third annual Women in Washington event – Through the Ceiling: Empowering Women in 2014 and Beyond – with keynotes from Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA).
The event will take place Wednesday, September 10 from 8:30 – 10:30am at the Grand Hyatt Washington (1000 H Street NW).
Remarks will also be made by Laura Cox Kaplan, PwC’s regulatory affairs and public policy leader; The Honorable Paula Stern, Ph.D., founder and chairwoman, The Stern Group, Inc.; Lynn Shapiro Snyder, founder and president, WBL Foundation; Susan Neely, president and CEO, American Beverage Association; and Nuala O’Connor, president and CEO, Center for Democracy and Technology. National Journal’s senior writer Michelle Cottle and correspondent Fawn Johnson will moderate.
