Life is so Unfair: Public Gets McConnell Vanilla While Eye Rolling Goes Unseen
The eye rolling, gasping SNL skit on the Senate floor Thursday between Sens. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), was not captured by C-SPAN cameras.
But it wasn’t because the network didn’t want it.
Some may wonder, since the incident happened on the Senate floor, why didn’t C-SPAN show it? The answer is: Those aren’t C-SPAN’s cameras televising the Senate floor. Those eight cameras are government cameras. C-SPAN carries only the Senate camera feed.
