In his opening segment Monday night, “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart laid into the coverage of this past weekend’s White House Correspondents’ dinner with some pretty scathing criticism — referring to the event as an “incestuous clusterfuck” and a “meaningless circle jerk.”
Stewart proceeded to take shots at both CNN and MSNBC for their coverage, but in very different ways. Beginning with MSNBC, Stewart ripped an interview of their own reporter, Joy Ann Reid, about her experience meeting The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus.
