Items Forbidden on WH Grounds

The White House will open its grounds to the public on Oct. 16-17. Visitors can view the South Lawn, the Children’s Garden, the Rose Garden and more. Noteworthy are the items that folks cannot bring. They consider “smoking” an item. Of course, this  likely means cigarettes, bongs, etc… Permitted: Strollers and wheel chairs.

The List of Forbidden Objects

Aerosols of any kind
Animals (except guide dogs)
Backpacks (oversized)
Balloons
Beverages of any kind
Chewing gum
Duffle bags/suitcases
Any pointed object
Electric stun guns
Fireworks/firecrackers
Food of any kind
Guns/ammunition
Knives of any kind
Mace
Smoking
