Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told host Chris Wallace that while the United States “generally enjoys a significant military advantage… We have peer competitors in cyber.”

In regard to cyber warfare, however, he continued “we don’t have an advantage. It’s a level playing field and that makes this chairman very uncomfortable.”

Earlier today, the Twitter and Youtube accounts of CENTCOM posted threatening messages to American troops by Islamic State sympathizers. Although
