Gay GOP Candidate Invites CPAC Attendees to His Suite
Openly gay Republican candidate for president Fred Karger wants CPAC attendees and media to come to his reception at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel tonight. Karger “has been excluded from both the GOP debates and now CPAC for two years in a row,” his communications director Nicholas Thimmesch said in an email to FishbowlDC.
It’s worth noting that former Governor of Louisiana Buddy Roemer and Florida pastor Terry Jones are also running for president and have not been invited to participate in the debates or to speak CPAC.
