For the purposes of this post we’ll refer to FNC’s Bret Baier as Dr. Baier. Why not? In May he will moderate a panel at the Becker’s Hospital annual meeting in Chicago, where Dr. Baier will speak to about 600 healthcare leaders.
It’s for a good cause. Baier explains the event at Becker’s Hospital in Chicago will ultimately help kids at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington where his son, Paul, had his heart surgeries and will soon face more. Baier sits on the Medical Center’s Foundation Board.
Baier currently anchors “Special Report” and was previously Chief White House Correspondent. As National Security Correspondent he reported from Iraq 12 times.
Dr. Baier will lead panel discussions on “Hospitals and the Next Four Years, Where should Leadership Focus Their Energies” and “The Best opportunities and Biggest Threats to Hospitals and Health systems.”
The online announcement has more on Baier’s political history. “Throughout his career, Mr. Baier has secured numerous exclusive interviews with government officials.” He has interviewed President Obama, former President George W. Bush, Vice President Cheney, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. He has also spoken with political leaders around the world.”
The meeting takes place at a beautiful hotel along Michigan Avenue the weekend of May 9.
