FBDC Exclusive: Kucinich Sues Deadbeat Book Publisher
A lawsuit was filed on behalf of Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D,OH) against Phoenix Books and Audio, Inc. in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier today.
In 2007, Kucinich entered into an agreement with Phoenix to publish his autobiography “The Courage to Survive.” The book release was slated to align with his presidential campaign but Kucinich claims the publisher has fallen flat on its end of the arrangement:
Allegations contained in the suit include:
Phoenix has not released any proceeds from the publication, sale, or distribution of the autobiography and refuses to provide the congressman with an accounting of books sold.
