CNN's Jake Tapper Announces His State of the Union Start Date
The five-month Ferris wheel is coming to an end.
CNN’s State of the Union will finally have a mainstay behind the desk starting June 14, this according to a tweet from the show’s new moderator Jake Tapper.
On Monday night while appearing on Conan, Tapper revealed that the Sunday show’s five-month long sede vacante period, since Candy Crowley left in December, would be over in two weeks time.
The anchor of CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper, who officially got the gig back in late April, sent out this tweet ahead of his appearance with Conan O’Brien:
