The 66.46 million viewers who watched the second presidential debate across 11 networks represents a big drop from the first presidential debate’s record-breaking 84 million. One factor to account for the difference was NBC, which aired a Sunday Night Football game between the Giants and Packers instead of the debate.

The last time around, NBC has been the most-watched network during the debate with 18.156 million viewers. This time around, the title went not to ABC, which had come in second for the first debate, but to CBS, which had 16.456
