Bill Nichols Leaves Politico for Freedman Consulting
The editor at large, there from the beginning, is moving on.
Politico editor at large Bill Nichols is leaving the publication to go the consultant route as vice president at Freedman Consulting. The firm’s clients range from foundations, non-profits, and corporations to politicians and political campaigns.
“The corps of people who were present at the creation of POLITICO, now almost nine years ago, will always remember a simple truth: This publication would never have made it in those harrowing early days without Bill’s professionalism, his passion for getting the job done against all obstacles, his calmness and poise under pressure, his humor and decency,” wrote co-founder and editor in chief John Harris in an email to staff.
