Yahoo DIY Launches
Yahoo’s latest attempt at tightly focused sites — Yahoo DIY — is now live. The site is edited by Katie Brown, who joined Yahoo in late August. Brown made a name for herself as host of public television’s Katie Brown Workshop.
As with a few other new Yahoo sites — like Yahoo Beauty, Yahoo Style and Yahoo Health — Yahoo DIY has giant block links of editorial interspersed with branded content. And just like the others, Yahoo is calling DIY a “digital magazine.”
