WhaleShark Media, owners of RetailMeNot, Deals.com, and Deals2Buy.com, will acquire eConversions, the U.K.-based company that owns VoucherCodes.co.uk and Gutschein-Codes.de in Germany. TechCrunch reports that the sale will likely be worth around $40 million in cash and stock.
The eConversions purchase is one in a recent spate of acquisitions for WhaleShark. Recently, the company purchased six other coupon sites. TechCrunch estimates the company’s revenue per annum before the eConversions purchase at approximately $50 million.
In eConversions, WhaleShark will acquire a four-million-plus subscriber list.
